Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is the heart of preventive quality management. With the 7-step methodology, we reliably identify potential risks before they become costly problems.

6S: Systematic improvement

The Six Sigma (6s) method is the most sustainable way to improve processes. Sigma represents the random variation of a process. When the variation fits six times within the specification limits, statistically, virtually no deviations occur.

If a process—or a sequence of processes—regularly varies too much, 6s plays to its strengths and brings the overall process to a zero-defect level.

That depends on the complexity of the topic. A Process FMEA for a manageable manufacturing process can take about 2–4 hours. More complex Development FMEAs require 10 or more hours. What matters to me is that we arrive at actionable results – no endless meetings without added value.
